Wayne State screenwriters were selected for Sundance Detroit Intensive

Wayne State ‎film major‬ Sydney Britton is one of a select group of Michigan ‪screenwriters‬ taking part in the Sundance Film Festival Institute Screenwriters Intensive in ‪Detroit‬, November 7, 2015. Britton's screenplay, Retail Therapy, is one of twelve projects selected to be workshopped by Sundance from over 100 entries.

Britton isn't the only ‪Wayne State‬ connected Sundance selectee. ‪Media arts‬ major Tinisha Brugnone is producer of the Michigan Creative Film Alliance film Downriver. Jasmine Rivera teaches in media arts and studies. Learn about each of their projects via the intensive's postings on Facebook:
