Wayne State hosts largest tournament in Detroit Urban Debate League history...

On November 18 and 19, the Wayne State University Forensics Union hosted the second 2011 Detroit Urban Debate League tournament at Manoogian Hall. We had our largest tournaments in Detroit UDL history with 150 debaters from 16 schools. Schools involved were: Communication Media Arts (CMA), Cass Tech, Cornerstone, Detroit Cristo Rey, Detroit Edison, Detroit Community, Frederick Douglass Academy, Loyola, Martin Luther King, Mumford, Plymouth Preparatory Academy, Renaissance, Romulus, University Prep and Woodward Academy. In the Open division, the Loyola team of Kwaishon Bell and Miles Farris were champions. Winning the novice division was Christine Rogers and Logen Hill from University Prep.
