"'Commuter love' may not be for all couples"

An article examining the challenges of long distance relationships (LDRs) includes research from Katheryn Maguire, associate professor at Wayne State University, whose 15-year research focuses on communication in LDRs. She says, "Couples see LDRs as more manageable now, and more of a necessity given the current economic climate and difficulty obtaining and keeping well-paying jobs."
