Former Channel 7 anchor Erik Smith remembers JFK assassination

Nov. 22 marked the 50th anniversary of the assassination of President John F. Kennedy. All across the country, Americans who were old enough in 1963 to understand the events in Dallas, remember that day. Former Wayne State University student Erik Smith holds a clear memory of the day, when he was running the university's student radio station. Smith went on to become a reporter at WKNR-AM in Detroit and an anchor on WXYZ television.
