WSU communication majors work on debut installment of DPTV's 'Detroit Performs' 6/18...

The work of five Wayne State University Department of Communication students is featured in the series premier of Detroit Performs 6/18 at 7:30p on Detroit Public Television. The segment produced by WSU student Isaac Grove showcases the work of mixed media artist Scott Hocking, whose work is said to mirror the city of Detroit. WSU students who also worked on the project are: Thomas Jonckeau - camera/editor on the project, Malea Howard - associate producer and editor and Shayna Fields-Clark, Barbara Gonzales and Ruby Odinma - production assistants. Detroit Public Television Producer Sarah Zientarski worked with the students to create this project for Detroit Performs.
