The The Eunice and Ed J. Pappas Endowed Scholarship for Excellence in Communication scholarship fund is established to recognize scholastic achievement, encourage continued progress, and provide assistance to students in financing their education in the Department of Communication in the College of Fine, Performing and Communication Arts.

Receiving the 2022 Eunice and Ed J. Papas Endowed Scholarship for Excellence in Communication means the world to me! I am very appreciative of the support Wayne State University has continuously given to me and my fellow students. Adjusting to pandemic learning has been hard, however, this scholarship has helped to prove to myself that I can do it! Within the next year, I plan to travel and study abroad in Germany, where I will use this scholarship to help continue my study of Communication and possibly begin my research project.
