Eileen Sandlin

Biography

Eileen Figure Sandlin is an award-winning writer and author of 24 nonfiction books, including 18 small business start-up books. She has published more than 900 magazine and newspaper articles, as well as thousands of newsletter articles. Her writing specialties are health care, small business issues and education.

Sandlin has been a lecturer in the business communication curriculum at Wayne State University for many years; and an assistant professor, lecturer and instructor at several other universities. She is president and owner of EFS Communications, a writing, editing and consulting firm. She also has held management positions at the Detroit News, Crain Communications, Inc., and St. John Hospital and Medical Center, all in Detroit.
