Biography

Hayg Oshagan (Ph.D., University of Wisconsin-Madison ) is the Department of Communication's Director of Media Arts and Studies and an Associate Professor of Mass Media Effects and Public Opinion.


Areas of Expertise

Dr. Oshagan studies the relationship of individuals to the mass media and the effects of mass media on public opinion.  His research has been published in Communication Research, International Journal of Public Opinion Research, Journal of Communication, National Journal of Sociology and several edited books.  He is editor of The Armenian Review.
